Even with Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules
looming large on the horizon, Europe's biggest spenders show little sign
of slowing down, and look set to splash the cash once more in January.
Having
laid out in excess of £90 million to bring in five new players in the
summer, Paris Saint-Germain are again looking to the transfer market for
solutions to a troubled Ligue 1 title challenge.
Sao Paulo
starlet Lucas Moura is set to link up with countrymen Thiago Silva and
Alex at the Parc des Princes in the New Year in a £35m deal which was
agreed in the summer.
Speculation is also rife that Ashley Cole
is on the French giants' wishlist, having so far failed to agree an
extension to his current Chelsea contract, which expires in the summer.
