Bradley Cooper has denied that he is dating his Silver Linings Playbook co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaking at the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, the Oscar-nominated actor shot down the rumours, joking that he was old enough be her father.
When quizzed about a romance between the pair by Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell, Bradley said: “If it didn’t happen by now, it’s not gonna happen.”
The 38-year-old star then quipped: “I could literally be her father.”
Cooper’s denial that the two are romantically involved comes just days after it was rumoured that Lawrence has split with long-term boyfriend and former Skins star Nicholas Hoult.
Meanwhile, Cooper also revealed that he already has a date to next month’s star-studded Oscars, as he revealed that he had already promised his plus one to his mother Gloria.
Speaking to E! News, the Canadian star said: “Oh yeah, that was done… One night, when I started the profession, [my mom said], ‘If you ever [get nominated], I am the date.’”
