A tournament which needed to explode into life certainly did in Port
Elizabeth,
as Ghana looked set to secure the first win of the
tournament, only for DR Congo to show that they could be one of the most
dangerous teams in this tournament, with a fight back worthy of
champions. From 2 goals down after strikes by Badu and Kwadwo Asamoah,
Claude le Roy's men defied the odds as Mputu and Mbokani netted vital
goals to gain a point for one of the dark horses of the 2013 Africa Cup
of Nations.
