Naijaloaded investigation has revealed that the girl is a daughter to a retired Army officer who was also a close friend to the principal. Sources told our reporter that it was because of the closeness that had existed between the principal and the girl’s father that she became regular in the principal’s house, leading to the pregnancy.
It was revealed that the girl was still contemplating carrying out the abortion, which would have been the third of its kind, when her friend stumbled on the letter, and quickly let ‘the cat out of the bag’. After being informed of the development, the father raised the alarm, attracting the youth of the town who dragged the principal to the king’s palace.
Oba Solomon Hambolu, the king, had advised the community to remain calm over the matter, as his palace was capable of dealing with the matter. He cautioned them not to take the law into their hands.
